Mason and Josh harvested our peanuts a couple of weeks ago and this weekend they were hanging out. They were talking about a mole and Josh said, "A mole is an animal that lives underground." "Like peanuts?" asked Mason.

Kids are soo smart! :-) How did the peanuts taste? I have to embarassingly admit I did not know that peanuts grew underground. I guess I had never really thought about HOW they grew. Thank you for teaching me something!
Peanuts grow in plastic bags, everybody knows that.
I especially love how the really "high end" ones grow in tin cans and come roasted and and flavored! :o)
How did the peanuts turn out? Never, in my wildest dreams, would it have occurred to me to plant peanuts! You are so impressive! :o)
